We received news that Jon has been asked to come teach at a school in Mombasa, Kenya. The name of the school is Pawani Bible Institute. We are so excited to have a place to work towards. Excited to be asked to be a part of the work there. The potential for the gospel to be multiplied is so huge. We have been told that the men and women there are hunger to learn, and take it back to their churches and communities. We have been told by so many sources that the church in Africa is growing so quickly that there has been little time for discipleship and training in the Word. This unfortunately causes many problems as leaders interpret the bible with very little knowledge of how.
Pray for us as there is so much to do before we leave in the summer of 2011. The check list we have been given seems pretty long and more will be added as the days go by. We desire to trust the Father for wisdom, and patience. Trusting and obeying.
