On Friday we went into Regina to the travel clinic to visit with the nurse at the travel clinic. She walked us through all the shots she recommended for us yellow fever, Hep. A and B, Rabbies, Meningococcal meningities, I think there may be another but you get the point (no pun intended). The nurse built for us a immunization schedule that we will go through over the next few months. We are so thankful for all that people that have supported us already because these shots are not cheap! But, when we think about it this is not something that you go cheap on.
This week we are meeting with our local church's mission committee. We are excited for the opportunity to share our indepth plans for Kenya. Then Friday, we are in for our mentoring session with Dr. Stabell and his wife. To round it out this Sunday we are in Biggar, Sask sharing at a Sunday morning service there about Kenya.
If you think of us we would appreciate your prayers as things seem to be getting a bit more intense as our preparations for Africa continue.
