Lots of stuff

Wow it's been too long since I have posted on here. We have been busy. With trips to Melfort, Olds/Red Deer, and Kelfield.

We visited Melfort and the Park Avenue Bible Church Family. We had a great weekend there. We spent our Saturday evening there with some friends and we had a great visit. We decided to reward the kids for the hard year of travel and stayed in a hotel in Melfort. So here we are swimming in the pool!

The following weekend we went out to see my sister Joelle in Alberta. We had a great time out there with her. We hit up some fun restaurants..thanks Joelle for the good time. Also while we were out in Alberta we visited a homeschool conference in Red Deer. It was a very big conference easily over a 1000 people there. We are all new to homeschooling so we wanted to find out what was available as far as teaching materials. We ended up meeting a nice lady who owns a distributing company in Calgary. She helped cut through the clutter and we are fairly clear on what we will be purchasing in the new future.

After the Olds/Red Deer trip we head across country for church at Kelfield. Here I am in Stettler. Amie decided we needed a random picture on this bridge! We spent a night with friends from our old church in Kelfield and enjoyed our visit. Then we had a great time Sunday where I was able to preach and share an update on our progress to Kenya. Followed by a Kelfield potluck! I have yet to find a better potluck!

Briercrest just had their graduation celebrations. Kevin and Christy came back for grad so Kevin could participate in the ceremony. It was great to reconnect again. We had them over for supper on Wednesday night.
