Faith Jump

We are ONE MONTH away from our financial clearance deadline with AIM. Wow, 2 years ago July 2011 sounded like some distant dream. Now it is almost here!

I remember reading a missionary's blog at about this time in their journey too. Something stood out to me. They said there came a point where they would had to make a huge jump of faith that was almost illogical. I thought that will never happen to us. It will all be put together we will be fine. But, we are going to do something similar. We don't have a house to sell or anything like that but Amie is quitting work May 27th. Only 2 weeks away! The reason is because we need to start packing, selling our stuff, making final preparations before we leave Caronport mid-June. The thing is we don't have financial clearance yet and the deadline for that is June 13th. So, we are going to step out in faith and trust that God will bring us up to full-support. It's a big step for us. I am a planner and like to have all my ducks lined up but this feels like either we are all in or we are not. So, all in here we go! Would you pray with us. It is an exciting step and we look forward to see how God will provide.

I love this picture it reminds me of what we are going to do. We want to see pulpits like this full with trained pastors and teachers proclaiming the Word of God to their congregations. This is too important for me to worry about having everything planned out. God is faithful, He loves His church and if He wants us in Kenya He will get it done as we have faith in Him.
