Our new neighbours.

We have enjoyed the comings and goings of our new neighbours - the Robins. There are usually three of them. I think two males and a female. The two males are always duking it out, trying to scare each other off. This is our interpretation on the situation. If anyone knows anything about Robin behaviour, we would love to hear what you think they are up to.

The spend most of their time behind these mirrors that some left leaning up against the trailer. Jon thinks that they are building a nest back there, but I looked on it up and Wickapedia said ( they are the experts on all things) that they don't usually nest on the ground. We have a tree in our yard, so you'd think they would nest there.

And here is the villain in the story. He's always creeping up on those poor birds. He knows something is going on behind those mirrors too because he sneaks up and goes back there himself. We try to scare him away if we notice him sneaking about. The birds are pretty smart though...hopefully smart enough not to nest on the ground. Maybe we'll have some pictures of a nest and eggs soon. :)
