We finished up Candidate's Week a couple days ago and are now back home! It was an intense week of discussions and learning. We are now ready to start working on the next part of the process in going to Africa. The next key things we will need to start working on is medicals, immunizations, and key documents that are needed to get into Africa.
On the last day of Candidates week we left the training facility we used and went over to the Canadian office of AIM this is where the above picture is taken.
The kids had a great week of learning too. The put much of what the learned and accomplished on their wall. I enjoyed going and checking out their wall each night as they explained to me the new things they were learning. They learned Swahili songs like "mungu ni mwewa" (I probably spelled that wrong...but it is "God is so good," they also learned about animals, countries, and safety issues.
We had the afternoon free the day before we flew home to Sask. So we went to Webster Falls near Hamilton.
