Perspective

Less than a week left in Caronport. It is kind of like a dream. As we were walking to church this morning I just blurted out to Amie this is our second last Sunday at church. She didn't say anything...then it really hit me this is our "second last Sunday at church." Gulp the emotion back. We pretty much tried to sink in every moment of church this morning. With the familiar faces and songs and everything else. For me it kind of felt like I had blinders on for a long time. Like God had been keeping us from thinking about it all. We could only focus on what was ahead. Now the blinders were ripped off during worship and all the emotion hit hard. We will miss these friends. Caronport has seen thousands of people move in and go somewhere. Yet, we feel so blessed like this is the first time it has every happened. People are expressing their intent to pray for us over the days ahead. People are giving to us in ways beyond what one could think possible. Whatever people may say this town is no bubble. These people who are our friends are World Christians and are geared to be missional. Well, time to get back to packing.
