Weekend activities

A couple of weekends ago we went out and visited our friends who used to be our neighbors. They were living in the flat right underneath us but moved out and back into town to be closer to their family. They invited us over on the weekend for a special celebration. I would be lying to say we were not nervous. We were very! But, we prayed gave it to God, and were blessed at how good our time went. We were able to visit, laugh, and share in their life.


They live in a very busy part of the town and their son took me up on the roof of their home to show me around. Very interesting and sobering to see the city from there and hear him share stories of the violence that happened on those streets below during the last election.

After sharing stories and watching Ian be Ian! He makes everyone laugh with his crazy antics.
We enjoyed some Kenyan food together! Some kind of deep fried potato and some other thing I can't pronounce so I don't dare even write it!
