Saying Goodbye is not fun. But, we were so thankful to have Amie's parents here for a short time. We had a great time exploring the coast together. We tried to pack the days full of fun activities and memories to be made together. We finished our last night off at our favorite Swahili restaurant in Mombasa. Tarboush! The food is amazing and we have come to love the staff that serve us there. So, we sat on the edge of Old Town Mombasa together and enjoyed the sounds of the city, good food, and great company (other than the guy who stood on the sidewalk looking at us for like 10 minutes wanting us to buy something from him). Denise and Amie even got a nice wild ride home in a Tuk Tuk after we were finished eating! I was happy about it because one needs to experience at least one hair raising ride while here.
Here is Papa and the kids enjoying one last round of UNO an hour or so before heading to the airport. Looks like Elijah just dropped a pick up four on Pappa!

After, taking them to the airport we were all pretty down. Thankfully, we had a distraction with the kids having swim lessons in the evening. So, we had something to preoccupy us with. Now we are working on getting life back to "normal."
Whatever normal is here in Africa.
