We are on break from teaching at Pwani and enjoying a little more relaxed pace to life. Although, it still feels as though we have many people in out and out of the house. So, last week we decided to get away for half a day do our favorite hiking walk just outside the city then cross the road and head over to the beach for some ice cream and time by the ocean.
At the end of our walk is a playground. There was a school group there so we played along with a few of the kids for a bit before we headed over to the beach.

It's the cold season in Kenya and so we thought it appropriate to have a "snowball" fight.
